Grant of License:

SCS grants you the right to use The Source Code Store’s ACTIVEGANTT ACTIVEX COMPONENT for development purposes on one computer. In order to install the software on other development computers additional licenses must be purchased.

The distribution of the runtime component is royalty free for paying customers.

Copyright:

The software is owned by SCS, and is protected by the Copyright Laws of the United States and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the software like any other copyrighted material (e.g. a book or musical recording) except that you may either make backup copies of the diskette or diskettes for archival purposes and/or transfer the software to a hard disk drive. Accompanying materials may not be copied.

License Keys:

Copying the license keys without holding a proper license constitutes a violation of the established copyrights.

Submissions:

Should You decide to submit any materials to SCS via electronic mail, through or to SCS websites, or otherwise, whether as feedback, data, questions, comments, ideas, concepts, techniques, suggestions or the like, You agree that such submissions are unrestricted and shall be deemed non-confidential upon submission. You grant to the SCS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable license, with the right to sublicense, to use, copy, transmit, distribute, create derivative works of, commercialize, display and perform such submissions.

Other Restrictions:

You may not rent or lease the software to third parties, but you may transfer the materials, including printed manuals, diskettes and packaging on a permanent basis provided that you retain no copies and the recipient agrees to the terms of this agreement. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise disassemble the software. You may not use, copy, modify, or transfer the software or any copy in whole or in part except as expressly provided in this license agreement. SCS reserves all rights not expressly granted.

Active Gantt examples

1. It was no easy test the product, because I needed to fix the examples, like the following function:

2. It was no easy to find how to start testing the object, because the documentation don´t mach with the product. Example, in the document TN00003 in the code you write:
ActiveGanttVBACtl1.Draw(), but this event is not shown by Intellisense, and it create the error that advice you to write the raise event.

It looks like it is the product I need, and it is in the right price, but I need better documentation in order to test all the functions. Please understand that a documentation that begins without any information about how to install, and how to use the object in a very simple app (like you try to show in the document I mention above) without errors in the code (maybe is a lack of actualization), is painfull for a person like me that is complete new in the use and programm of your Gantt object.
